Touchstar achieve higher than expected sales for PODStar proof of delivery system

Proof of Delivery innovator continues to shake up the market Touchstar, a developer of intelligent real-time EPOD solutions, and a member of the Touchstar PLC group of companies, has enjoyed an 86% growth in the sales of its PODStar integrated Proof of Delivery system. 

The Touchstar PODStar solution services any organisation with a van or HGV fleet and offers optimisation of work scheduling, reduction in fuel costs and improved customer service levels without adding extra business complexity. Highlights of 2019 include:

• Year-on-year double-digit revenue growth driven by new and existing customers
• Record Revenues with sales up 86% on previous year
• Record customer acquisition new system license
• New customers that purchased PODStar solutions include Metsec, Instarmac, AET,  French Garden and Tican to name a few and two last minute signings in the run up to the Christmas break. ·
• Expansion of installed base with a 38% increase in recurring license revenue
• A two-fold increase in average new customer Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) Resources growth
• PODStar expanded its team with appointments across customer support, project management, sales and engineering  

A sustained commitment to R&D

The Touchstar R&D programme for PODStar is driven directly by customer input. New software modules are developed and as a SAS cloud-based platform, these options become automatically available for existing and new users.
